Why should you always ask to see the mattress specifications?

Unfortunately, unless you’re prepared to cut open the mattress once you get it home, how will you know if you actually received the features that were discussed.

Very few salespeople actually know all the specifications, in every mattress they’re selling, and rather than come off looking dumb, they’ll often misquote specs. The result is that customers often end up buying a new mattress, that does not have the features discussed.

For this reason alone, when you’re shopping for a new mattress you should always ask to see the specifications. You deserve to know that the mattress you buy, has the features that were implied, and that you’re getting what you pay for.
